ASCCP
One Connected Digital Ecosystem for an Entire Medical Society

Background
ASCCP is a professional medical society supporting healthcare professionals through membership, education, clinical resources, professional development, and scientific meetings.
Behind those experiences is something members rarely see: a sophisticated digital ecosystem supporting nearly every interaction they have with the organization.
From joining ASCCP and paying membership dues to registering for a course, earning CME, submitting an abstract, or accessing educational content, Celerate technology supports the journey behind the scenes.
The Challenge
Professional societies often build their technology one need at a time.
A website lives in one platform. Membership lives in an AMS. Courses live in a separate LMS. Meetings require another vendor. Abstract submissions require another system. E-commerce gets layered on top.
Eventually, the organization isn’t managing technology.
It’s managing the spaces between its technology.
Data has to move between platforms. Staff repeat processes. Members encounter different experiences and logins. Vendors point to one another when something goes wrong.
ASCCP needed something different: a digital environment capable of supporting the organization as a whole.

The Strategy
Celerate created a connected digital ecosystem using GoWP and GoSuite, bringing ASCCP’s website, membership, education, meetings, abstracts, e-commerce, and organizational data together.
The goal wasn’t simply to integrate more software.
It was to eliminate the need for disconnected software in the first place.
Because GoWP and GoSuite are designed to communicate with one another, functionality that traditionally requires separate platforms and custom integrations can work together as part of the same Celerate ecosystem.
For ASCCP, that means the website isn’t simply the front door to the organization.
It is connected to what happens behind it.
One Member Journey, Connected From Beginning to End
A healthcare professional can discover ASCCP through the WordPress website and continue into increasingly sophisticated member experiences without the organization having to stitch together a collection of unrelated platforms.
That connected journey can include:
Discover → Join → Pay → Learn → Register → Earn CME → Attend → Renew
The experience changes depending on what the member is doing, but the underlying ecosystem remains connected.
Website + Content
ASCCP’s .org experience is powered through GoWP, Celerate’s WordPress platform.
WordPress gives the organization the flexibility and content-management experience staff expect while GoWP provides the foundation needed for a sophisticated professional society website.
But the website doesn’t exist independently from ASCCP’s operational systems.
Through its connection with GoSuite, the public website can become part of a much larger member and learning experience.
Membership + CRM/AMS
GoSuite supports the membership lifecycle behind ASCCP.
Members can apply for membership, manage their relationship with the organization, pay dues, and participate in recurring and automatic dues processes.
Transactions and membership activity are connected to the same broader ecosystem supporting the website, education, and meetings.
Instead of the website knowing one version of the member while another platform knows another, ASCCP can build experiences around a connected understanding of the individual.
Learning + CME
Education is a core part of ASCCP’s mission, and its learning requirements extend far beyond simply publishing videos online.
Through the GoSuite Learning Management System, ASCCP can manage both live and on-demand educational experiences, including:
- Recorded courses and webinars
- Live courses
- Course registration and payment
- Learner access
- Evaluations
- CME
- Certificates and certifications
- Education history
The LMS is built to work with the larger GoSuite ecosystem and ASCCP’s WordPress experience.
That distinction matters.
Learning isn’t a separate destination bolted onto the website. It’s part of the member’s relationship with ASCCP.
Meetings + Abstract Management
ASCCP also uses GoSuite to support its scientific meeting workflow.
Abstract management provides the infrastructure needed to collect and manage submissions as part of the broader meeting experience.
Meeting registration, transactions, membership information, educational activity, and abstract functionality can therefore live within a connected organizational ecosystem rather than requiring ASCCP to assemble and maintain a different technology stack for each need.
E-Commerce + Transactions
Membership dues aren’t the only financial interactions happening online.
Members and learners may pay for courses, registrations, membership, and other products or opportunities across their relationship with ASCCP.
GoSuite provides the commerce layer supporting those transactions while connecting purchases back to the appropriate member, learning, or organizational record.
That creates something much more useful than a shopping cart.
It creates continuity.
Why This Architecture Is Different
WordPress is an extraordinarily flexible content-management platform.
But WordPress alone isn’t an association management system, a sophisticated learning management system, an abstract management platform, or a professional education ecosystem.
Organizations frequently solve that problem by adding independent plugins and third-party platforms and then trying to connect them.
Celerate took a different approach.
GoWP gives organizations the flexibility of WordPress. GoSuite extends that experience into the operational systems sophisticated associations and medical societies need.
Because Celerate develops and supports the ecosystem, clients don’t have to coordinate separate website, membership, LMS, meeting, and integration vendors every time something changes.
One partner. Connected technology. Less complexity.

The Result
For ASCCP, Celerate isn’t simply the website vendor.
The ecosystem supports core parts of how the organization operates digitally from the public website and membership through education, CME, meetings, abstracts, transactions, and ongoing member engagement.
A connected member experience
Members move between content, membership, education, meetings, and transactions without those experiences feeling like unrelated technology products.
Less technology fragmentation
ASCCP doesn’t need a different vendor and disconnected platform for every major digital function.
One source of member context
Membership, purchases, education, registrations, and other activity can contribute to a more complete understanding of the member relationship.
Sophisticated professional education
Live and on-demand education, evaluations, CME, certificates, and learning history are supported through an LMS designed for professional organizations.
Technology that can evolve with the organization
Because GoWP and GoSuite are part of the same Celerate ecosystem, new capabilities can be introduced without rebuilding the organization’s entire technology stack.
