Celerate FAQs

What makes Celerate different from other web development agencies?

We stay with you for the life of your technology. Unlike agencies that build and leave, we provide lifelong partnership with ongoing support, strategy, and evolution of your digital presence. Plus, we offer GoSuite—the only integrated CRM, LMS, and meeting management solution built natively for WordPress. We’re not just developers; we’re your long-term technology partner invested in your success.

How does GoSuite integrate CRM, LMS, and meeting management?

GoSuite is a unified platform where all systems share a single database. When a member enrolls in a course, they’re automatically added to relevant email campaigns and can book office hours—all tracked in one contact record. No separate plugins or integration middleware required. Everything works together seamlessly because it was designed as one cohesive system from the ground up.

Why do nonprofits and associations choose WordPress?

WordPress powers 43% of all websites for excellent reasons: it’s flexible, scalable, cost-effective, and you own your data. Unlike proprietary platforms that lock you in with subscription fees and limited customization, WordPress gives you complete control. With thousands of plugins and a massive developer community, you can build exactly what your organization needs. When paired with GoSuite, you get enterprise-level features at a fraction of traditional costs.

What is included in your lifelong technology partnership?

Our partnership includes monthly maintenance and security updates, content updates and changes, technical support via our MyTeam portal, strategic consulting calls, performance monitoring, backup management, and proactive recommendations for improvements. You get direct access to our team who knows your organization—not a ticket queue. We track your goals and technology roadmap, ensuring your website evolves with your needs.

Can GoSuite replace multiple software subscriptions?

Yes. GoSuite consolidates functionality that typically requires separate systems, creating significant efficiency gains while providing better integration and eliminating data silos. Organizations using GoSuite report streamlined workflows, improved team productivity, and enhanced member engagement—all while simplifying their technology stack.

How long does a typical website project take?

Most WordPress website projects take 3-6 months from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and complexity. This includes discovery and strategy, design, development, content migration, training, and launch. GoSuite implementations typically add 2-4 weeks for configuration and data migration. We establish clear milestones and maintain transparent communication throughout the entire process, ensuring you’re informed and involved.

Do you work with organizations outside of Frederick, MD?

Absolutely. While we’re proudly based in Frederick, Maryland, we serve nonprofit organizations and professional associations across the United States. Our team excels at remote collaboration, and we’ve successfully partnered with organizations from coast to coast. We travel for important kickoff meetings when valuable and maintain close, personal communication throughout every project.

What kind of training and support do you provide?

We provide comprehensive training tailored to your team’s needs, including live training sessions, recorded video tutorials, written documentation, and ongoing support through our MyTeam portal. You get direct access to our team with fast response times (typically same-day for urgent issues). We don’t just hand off a website—we ensure your team is confident, capable, and empowered to manage day-to-day operations.

Why is GoSuite built on WordPress?

WordPress powers 43% of all websites and provides unmatched flexibility, security, and ownership. GoSuite is built natively for WordPress, meaning you get enterprise-level CRM, LMS, and meeting management capabilities while maintaining complete control of your data and content. You own everything, not us.

Can I start with just WordPress and add GoSuite later?

Absolutely. Many organizations start with a custom WordPress website and add GoSuite modules as they grow. You might begin with just the CRM, then add learning management when you’re ready to launch courses, and later integrate meeting management for conferences. It’s designed to scale with you.

How does GoSuite integrate with my WordPress website?

GoSuite is built natively for WordPress, not bolted on through plugins or external integrations. Everything shares the same database, authentication system, and user experience. Your members log in once and access their courses, meeting registrations, member portal, and content seamlessly.

What happens if I want to migrate away from GoSuite?

Because everything is built on WordPress and your data lives in your own database, you maintain complete ownership. Your content, member data, and course materials can be exported at any time. We don’t lock you in—you’re free to take your data wherever you want.

How much does WordPress + GoSuite cost?

Pricing is modular based on which features you need. A custom WordPress website typically ranges from $30,000-$100,000+ depending on complexity. GoSuite modules are priced separately and include ongoing hosting, maintenance, and support. We’ll create a custom proposal based on your specific requirements and budget.

Do you provide training and ongoing support?

Yes. We provide comprehensive training for your staff on both WordPress and GoSuite features, along with ongoing support through our dedicated team. You get direct access to people who know your system inside and out—not a ticket queue or chatbot.

Can GoSuite replace our existing AMS or database?

For many organizations, yes. GoSuite’s CRM provides comprehensive member management, dues tracking, engagement analytics, and communication tools. However, we can also integrate with existing systems if you need to maintain certain legacy databases. We’ll assess your specific needs during discovery.

How long does implementation take?

A custom WordPress website typically takes 3-6 months from discovery to launch. Adding GoSuite modules adds 2-4 weeks per module for configuration and data migration. Complex integrations or custom features may extend timelines. We establish clear milestones and maintain transparent communication throughout.

When was Celerate founded?

Celerate was founded in 1997 as Enforme Interactive, making us one of the longest-running boutique digital firms serving mission-driven organizations in the mid-Atlantic region. We rebranded to Celerate in 2023 to reflect the rapid acceleration of technology, AI, integrated platforms, and data-led strategy while keeping the same team, the same values, and the same commitment to organizations that are doing work that matters.

Is Celerate a woman-owned business?

Yes, Celerate is a certified woman-owned technology business, holding WBE, WBENC, and WOSB certifications since our founding in 1997. For organizations with supplier diversity requirements or federal procurement needs, we are a verified women-owned small business providing strategy, brand, custom development, and integrated digital platforms.

What makes Celerate’s approach different?

Every project is led by senior strategists, designers, and engineers from strategy through launch and ongoing support. The same people who scope your work are the ones building and supporting it a year later. We intentionally keep our client roster focused so each organization gets deep, hands-on attention across research, brand, development, and platform work. We learn your mission, your users, and your data before a single line of code gets written.

Will I need to hire a different vendor once my project launches?

No. One team handles everything from initial discovery and UX design through custom development, platform integration, QA testing, launch, training, and ongoing maintenance. You never get handed off to a different vendor or department. For mission-driven organizations, this means faster decisions, tighter data integrity, and technology that actually gets adopted.

What does full software lifecycle coverage mean?

Full software lifecycle coverage means one team handles everything from initial discovery and UX design through custom development, platform integration, QA testing, launch, training, and ongoing maintenance. You never get handed off to a different vendor or department. For mission-driven organizations, this means faster decisions, tighter data integrity, and technology that actually gets adopted.

What industries does Celerate specialize in?

Celerate specializes in strategy, brand, and technology solutions for professional associations, mission-driven companies, educational institutions, and purpose-led consumer brands. We have deep experience with healthcare associations, scientific societies, advocacy organizations, membership-based nonprofits, and values-aligned businesses that need custom development, integrated platforms, and digital tools that scale.

Where is Celerate located?

Our headquarters is located at 228 North Market Street in historic downtown Frederick, Maryland. While we’re proudly rooted in the Frederick community with a team passionate about people and purpose-driven technology, we serve clients across the United States through expert remote collaboration capabilities developed over 27 years.

What is GoSuite and how does it help organizations?

GoSuite is Celerate’s integrated platform for associations and nonprofits, combining several connected systems into one place: membership management, donations and event registration, e-commerce, reporting dashboards, and at its core, GoWP, our WordPress-based content management system. GoWP gives your team full ownership of your website content and code, built on the same open platform powering millions of sites worldwide, so there’s no lock-in and no dependency on Celerate to keep things running.

Everything else in GoSuite connects to that WordPress foundation: member records and entitlements, donor and event management, an integrated shopping cart, and dashboards that give you a real-time view of membership, donations, and financial performance. For associations and mission-driven organizations, that means managing members, running events, processing payments, and delivering education all from one login, one database, and one support team without stitching together separate vendors for each piece.

What’s the difference between GoWP and GoSuite?

GoWP is the WordPress content management layer—the part of your site your team uses to create pages, publish content, and manage your website day to day. It’s built on standard, open WordPress, so there’s no lock-in and any developer, internal or external, can pick it up and understand it.

GoWP can also stand entirely on its own. A lot of our development work is pure WordPress projects with no GoSuite modules involved at all. Built on WP Engine, GoWP comes ready out of the box with enterprise-grade search powered by AI, along with built-in modules for events and FAQs, including FAQ structuring built for how AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews actually read and cite content.

GoSuite is the broader platform that GoWP sits inside when an organization needs more than a website. It connects GoWP to the systems associations run on: membership management, donations and event registration, e-commerce, and reporting dashboards—all working from one login and one database instead of separate logins for separate vendors.

In short: if you’re asking “can I edit my website” or “can I get a fast, AI-ready WordPress site,” that’s GoWP on its own. If you’re asking “can my members renew dues, register for events, and give online without me stitching together three different tools,” that’s GoSuite.
