Turning Talent Into Impact

How we helped shine a light on Friends of the Child Advocacy Center and turned a single night into lasting community momentum.
At Celerate, we believe purpose isn’t just a principle it’s practice. That’s why, for the past three years, we’ve used our creative, strategy, and tech skills to raise over $200,000 for nonprofits in our community.
One of the most meaningful examples: Friends of the Child Advocacy Center, a small, grassroots nonprofit doing vital work for children who have experienced abuse or trauma. They support the Frederick County Child Advocacy Center through advocacy, funding, and resources that directly impact the lives of vulnerable kids and families. Many in our community hadn’t heard of them. We changed that.
In partnership with our downstairs neighbor, 7th Sister Restaurant, we transformed our building into a one-night-only fundraising and awareness event closing the doors to the public and opening them to something bigger.
We handled it all:
- Full event branding and storytelling
- Custom-built ticketing and donation platform
- Collaboration with 7th Sister for food, space, and guest experience
- Digital promotion and onsite creative strategy
The result? A packed event, new donors, and most importantly new supporters. Teachers in the room asked how they could get involved. Guests left not only giving, but understanding why this organization matters.
This is why we do what we do. Whether we’re building a digital platform or producing a fundraiser, we bring the same energy: partnership, purpose, and showing up for missions that deserve the spotlight.
Because when we say we’re mission-driven, we live it.
