Objective

American Computer Development, inc. (ACDi) provided Celerate with the opportunity to develop an eBook that highlighted 9 common mistakes that occur during electronic manufacturing projects. The goal was to inform current and potential clients, enable them to avoid costly issues, and generate potential business leads. It was important for the eBook to maintain a consistent visual style that complimented ACDi’s established brand.

Solution

The completed eBook features a balance of text and illustration that flows through a variety of dynamic page layouts. The illustrations, which are tailored for style consistency, serve to reinforce some of the more abstract concepts in the text while also providing a dash of humor. Each of the 9 mistakes outlined in the content are marked with bold number badges. Frame elements are accented with corner bevels, which is a staple of ACDi’s visual brand. Consistent colors, styles and page elements are offset by varying content structure without upsetting the flow. This blend of strategies works together to produce an enjoyable reading experience that ties ACDi’s brand into an informative and compelling marketing tool.
